The 2016 Olympic Games elected organizer is  the city of Rio de Janeiro.

Brazil will organize the Olympics in 2016 and the FIFA World Cup in 2014.

Now the International Olympic Committee is voting. In one hour we'll know the name of the city for 2016 Summer Olympic Games.

Which country will organize this Olympic Games? Brazil (Rio de Janeiro), Spain (Madrid),  Tokyo  (Japan) and USA (Chicago) are the candidates. The result in one hour.

2016 Olympic Games: the final decision

In few hours, the Olympic Committee will announce which of the four cities (Chicago, Madrid, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro) will be the sede for the 2016 Olympic Games.

Will be in America (north or south)? Perhaps will be in Europe? Or maybe in Asia? At 18:00 we'll know the final decission.

All the cities have movilized their representatives for support this candidature, including the country representatives: Barack and Michelle Obama, J.L. Rodriguez Zapatero and the spanish king Juan Carlos I, President Lula Da Silva and prime minister Yukio Hatoyama. Of course, a wide representation of world of sport, including the mitic soccer player Pelé.
